3. Cut the Panels

Carefully cut the panels to the required size using a fine-tooth or sharp saw. The masking tape will help prevent splintering during cutting. Once cut, use sandpaper to smooth the edges.

4. Prepare the Surface

Ensure the wall or ceiling surface is clean and smooth. If you are using battens, install them first by securing them to the wall or ceiling with screws, ensuring they are level. Battens can help achieve Class A sound absorption.

5. Install the Panels

Position the first panel at the starting point and check that it is level. Secure it to the wall or ceiling using screws through the acoustic felt backing. Continue installing the remaining panels, ensuring each one is level and snugly fits next to the previous panel. For a finished look, you may optionally apply finishing oil with a roller to enhance the wood’s appearance and protect it.
